RealtyCoworker vs Tidio: Chatbot Builder or Complete Lead System?
Tidio is one of the most approachable chat and chatbot tools for small businesses, with a free plan and the Lyro AI agent. Here is how it compares with RealtyCoworker for buyer and seller leads.
Quick verdict
For most real estate agents and brokers, RealtyCoworker is the better choice because the AI that answers your website chat also handles texts, DMs and calls, books appointments and feeds a real estate pipeline in one login. Tidio is easier and cheaper to start, with a free plan, the Lyro AI agent and no-code Flows, but it was shaped around online stores and does not include a phone system, calendars or a sales pipeline.

The Short Version
Tidio is friendly software. You can add the widget to a site in a few minutes, build a chatbot with drag and drop Flows, and switch on Lyro, its AI agent, to answer common questions. The free plan is real, and paid plans are priced for small businesses.
Its roots are in ecommerce: product cards, cart checks and Shopify actions sit throughout the product. Real estate leads behave differently. A buyer chatting about Point Pleasant is not checking an order status, they are starting a months-long search, and they need a consult booked and a follow-up plan.

How Tidio's Pricing Works
Tidio splits its product into three parts: Customer Service (live chat and ticketing), Lyro AI Agent, and Flows. Customer Service plans are billed by billable conversations, meaning conversations where a human on your team replied. As of October 2026, Free covers 50 conversations a month, Starter is $24.17 per month billed annually for 100 conversations, and Growth starts at $49.17 per month billed annually for 250 or more. Each of those plans includes 10 seats.
Lyro is priced on its own. Every account gets 50 Lyro conversations once, and Lyro plans start at $32.50 per month billed annually for 50 AI conversations a month. Flows also has its own plan once you need to reach more than 100 visitors a month. It is a flexible model, but the total depends on how many chats you and the AI handle.
RealtyCoworker Essentials is $99 per month and Lift Off is $249 per month, with unlimited users. AI chat is billed per message at $0.04 on Essentials and $0.03 on Lift Off, and Lift Off includes 1,000 AI text and chat replies a month. Calls, texts and email are billed at usage rates too. See current plans.
Lyro and Flows vs Conversation AI and Automations
Lyro answers from your support content, can hand off to a human and can run on Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp and email as well as the website. Flows let you build rule-based paths such as a quote request or a missed-chat message. Together they make a capable chatbot setup.
RealtyCoworker’s Conversation AI does the qualifying and booking itself: it asks your questions, reads the answers and offers times from your calendar. For multi-step logic, AI Agent Studio gives you a visual canvas with decisions, knowledge base tools and testing. After the chat, automations keep working: the buyer inquiry workflow texts and emails the lead over the following days, and the long-term nurture workflow keeps in touch with buyers who are a year out.
A Shore Town Example
A couple from North Jersey opens your site on a Tuesday night, looking at second homes in Point Pleasant Beach. With Tidio, a Flow or Lyro can greet them, answer questions about your services and collect an email. If they want to talk, you would send a scheduling link from another tool and add them to a CRM by hand or through an integration.
With RealtyCoworker, the AI asks about budget, timeline and must-haves, offers a buyer consult, and books it. The chat becomes a contact in your pipeline, and if they ask about a specific house the AI says it will check with you rather than guessing at price or availability. Live listing search would need an authorized MLS or IDX connection.
Ease of Use and Support
Tidio is easy to learn, with templates for Flows, a desktop and mobile app, and a 7-day trial of paid features before the account drops to the Free plan. For a do-it-yourself chatbot, it is one of the gentler learning curves on the market.
RealtyCoworker has more to set up because it replaces more tools. Lift Off includes done-for-you setup of your pipeline, calendar, forms, phone number, follow-up, reminders and review requests, plus 1:1 onboarding from T.O.M Digital Marketing in New Jersey. Our verdict
The Winner for Real Estate Agents: RealtyCoworker
Tidio is a well made chat and chatbot tool, and its free plan makes it a smart way to try chat at no cost. For real estate agents and brokers, the chat is only the first touch, and Tidio leaves calendars, calls and the pipeline to other software. RealtyCoworker wins because one AI answers the chat, books the consult and hands the lead to automated follow-up and a pipeline in the same login. You will pay more each month, and you get a full lead system rather than a chat box.

Tidio vs RealtyCoworker: FAQ
Is Tidio free for real estate agents?
Yes, Tidio has a free plan with 50 billable conversations a month and 10 seats. Lyro AI includes 50 free conversations once, and more AI conversations require a paid Lyro plan. Free works for a quiet website; busier agents usually upgrade.
What counts as a billable conversation in Tidio?
According to Tidio's pricing page, a billable conversation is a chat, ticket, email or social conversation that includes a reply from a human on your team. Unanswered visitor messages and replies from Flows or Lyro do not count toward that quota.
Can Tidio book appointments?
Tidio's plans do not list a built-in booking calendar, so agents typically connect or share a link from a separate scheduling tool. RealtyCoworker includes calendars, and its Conversation AI can book consults directly in the chat.
Which is better for Facebook and Instagram messages, Tidio or RealtyCoworker?
Both bring Facebook and Instagram messages into one inbox, and both offer AI replies. RealtyCoworker adds texting, calls and a pipeline on the same contact record, and can also reply to comments and send DMs from comments through its auto-reply tools.
Can I use Tidio and RealtyCoworker together?
You can, but most agents do not need to. RealtyCoworker includes a website chat widget whose conversations land in the same inbox as your texts and calls, so running two chat tools usually adds cost without adding much.
