What is Automations in RealtyCoworker?

Automations in RealtyCoworker is the workflow builder that runs follow-up for real estate agents and brokers. A trigger, such as a new form submission or missed call, starts a series of actions like texts, emails, tasks and pipeline moves, with if/else branches, waits and goals. It includes eight ready-made real estate workflows.

What’s inside

Everything in Automations.

  1. Triggers

Start a workflow from events such as a form submission, new tag, appointment booked, pipeline change, incoming message, or a comment on your Facebook, Instagram or TikTok post.

On the job: A new portal inquiry form submission starts your buyer follow-up.

    Explore Auto-Replies
  2. Actions

Send texts and emails, create tasks, assign owners, update fields, add tags and move pipeline stages.

On the job: Assign a seller lead to the listing agent and create a call task for today.

  3. If/else branches

Split the path based on contact details, tags or replies.

On the job: Send buyers with a lender preapproval tag down a faster showing path.

  4. Waits and goals

Pause until a time or event, and stop the sequence once the goal is reached.

On the job: Stop the nurture texts as soon as the lead books a consult.

  5. Templates and recipes

Start from prebuilt workflow templates instead of a blank canvas.

On the job: Copy a reminder recipe and change the wording for your showings.

  6. AI workflow builder

Describe the automation you want and AI drafts the workflow for you to review.

On the job: Type 'remind sellers the day before photos' and get a draft workflow.

  7. AI actions

Add AI steps that write replies, summarize or sort messages inside a workflow.

On the job: Summarize a long inquiry before it lands with the assigned agent.

  8. Ready-made: Buyer inquiry

Replies to new buyer leads, asks qualifying questions and offers a consult time.

On the job: A buyer asks about homes in Jackson and gets a reply plus a booking link within minutes.

  9. Ready-made: Seller inquiry

Responds to seller and valuation leads and pushes toward a listing appointment.

On the job: A homeowner requests a value estimate and is invited to book a listing consult.

  10. Ready-made: Open house follow-up

Thanks sign-in guests and follows up over the next days.

On the job: Every guest who signed in at Sunday's Lavallette open house gets a thank-you the same evening.

  11. Ready-made: Missed call

Texts callers back when you cannot pick up.

On the job: You miss a call during a showing and the caller gets a text asking how you can help.

How agents use it

Automations, on a real workday.

  1. 1

    Speed to lead

New buyer and seller inquiries get an instant, permission-based reply and a booking link, while the assigned agent gets a task to call.

  2. 2

    Open house to appointment

Sign-in guests get a thank-you, a follow-up two days later and an invite to book a buyer consult if they reply.

  3. 3

    Past client referrals

Closing review requests and home anniversary messages keep your sphere engaged for years after the sale.

FAQ

Automations questions, answered.

Can I edit the ready-made real estate automations?

Yes. All eight workflows are starting points. You can change the wording, timing, branches and who gets assigned, or turn any of them off. You can also duplicate one to make versions for different lead sources, teams or towns, and review the steps before you publish changes.

Can automations text leads automatically?

Yes, when texting is set up and the contact has given permission. Business texting requires carrier registration, and contacts can reply STOP to opt out at any time. Your workflows can check for permission before sending, and email or tasks can be used for contacts who have not opted in to texts.

Do I need to know how to build workflows?

No. You can start from the ready-made automations or templates, or describe what you want and let the AI workflow builder draft it for you to review. Once you are comfortable, you can add your own triggers, branches and waits on the visual builder at your own pace.

Can automations keep fair housing in mind?

You write the messages and questions, so keep qualifying steps focused on timing, budget and property needs, and avoid anything about protected classes. RealtyCoworker does not decide who receives service. Review your scripts with your broker and treat every lead the same way based on their stated needs.
