If your brokerage runs on Microsoft 365, you may already have Microsoft Bookings. We look at what it covers for agents and where RealtyCoworker goes further.

Quick verdict

RealtyCoworker is the better choice for most real estate agents and brokers because it ties booking calendars to AI call answering, two-way texting, a pipeline and real estate follow-up automations. Microsoft Bookings is a sensible no-extra-cost option for offices already on Microsoft 365 that only need booking pages connected to Outlook and Teams.

The Appeal of a Scheduler You Already Own

Plenty of brokerages run their email on Microsoft 365. If yours does, Microsoft Bookings may already be in your account at no added cost, since Microsoft lists it in Business Basic, Business Standard and Business Premium, among other plans. Free is hard to beat.

Bookings is also tightly connected to Outlook and Teams. A buyer books a virtual consult, the meeting lands on your Outlook calendar, and a unique Teams link goes into the confirmation and reminder emails. For a team that lives in Outlook all day, that feels natural.

What Microsoft Bookings Covers

Bookings offers two flavors. Personal Bookings lets you share your own availability and meeting types through a link. Shared Bookings lets an office create a booking page for a team, define services, assign qualified staff, set business hours and buffers, and collect custom fields from the person booking. Group bookings let one staff member meet several clients at once.

There are requirements to know. Microsoft says Bookings needs mailboxes in Exchange Online, and online meetings require staff to have a Teams license that allows meeting scheduling. Text message notifications are part of Teams Premium, an extra license, and are available in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.

Where It Stops for a Real Estate Business

Bookings is built to schedule appointments for an organization. It is not a CRM, a texting inbox or a phone system. Once a client books, Bookings sends emails and reminders, and that is its job done.

Agents need the steps before and after. RealtyCoworker’s booking calendars handle the scheduling, then Voice AI answers calls you miss, Conversation AI replies to texts and DMs, and appointment reminder workflows cut no-shows. After the meeting, the deal sits in a pipeline and long-term nurture keeps in touch if the client is not ready.

Example: A Small Brokerage in Toms River

Say an eight-agent office on Route 37 uses Microsoft 365 for email. With Bookings, the front desk creates a shared page for seller consults, and each agent has a personal page. That covers clients who find the link. Calls that come in after hours still go to voicemail, and follow-up depends on each agent’s habits.

With RealtyCoworker, the office gets the same booking pages plus a shared phone system with call tracking numbers for signs and mailers, an AI receptionist for after-hours calls, and a round robin that assigns new leads and books them with the right agent. The broker can see appointments and agent activity in reporting. Agents keep Outlook too, because RealtyCoworker syncs with Outlook calendars.

Pricing and Total Cost

As of October 2026, Microsoft 365 Business Basic, the lowest business plan that includes Bookings, is $7 per user per month paid yearly. Microsoft raised that from $6 on July 1, 2026. Teams Premium for SMS reminders is an additional license. If you already pay for Microsoft 365, Bookings itself adds nothing to your bill.

RealtyCoworker Essentials is $99 per month and Lift Off is $249 per month ($990 or $2,490 per year), with unlimited users and contacts. Calls, texts, email and AI usage are billed separately at plan rates. RealtyCoworker does not replace Microsoft 365 email or Office apps. It replaces the CRM, texting tool, call answering and website builder that sit beside them. See pricing.

Setup and Support

Bookings is administered through the Microsoft 365 admin center, so someone with admin rights usually has to turn it on and manage settings. Support follows your Microsoft 365 support channel.

RealtyCoworker is supported directly by T.O.M Digital Marketing in New Jersey. Lift Off includes done-for-you setup of your pipeline, calendar, forms, phone number, follow-up and reminders, 1:1 onboarding and priority chat support. Choose Microsoft Bookings if: Choose Microsoft Bookings if your office is already on Microsoft 365, you mainly need booking pages tied to Outlook and Teams, and you have other tools for follow-up. Our verdict

The Winner for Real Estate Agents: RealtyCoworker

Microsoft Bookings is a capable scheduler that many brokerages already own, and it pairs neatly with Outlook and Teams. For real estate agents and brokers, though, missed calls and slow follow-up cost more deals than scheduling friction does. RealtyCoworker wins because it answers the lead, books the appointment, sends reminders by text and email, and keeps the client moving through a pipeline. It is an added monthly cost, so it makes sense when it replaces the other tools in your stack rather than sitting next to them.
