FAQ
Payments questions, answered.
Can I send listing or buyer agreements for e-signature?
Yes. You can upload a PDF or build a document, then send it for e-signature. Use the forms your brokerage has approved and follow your state's rules. RealtyCoworker provides the signing tool, not legal advice, so check with your broker or attorney about which documents and signature methods are acceptable.
Which payment processors can I use?
You connect a payment processor such as Stripe so payments deposit to your own account. The processor sets its own transaction fees. Your RealtyCoworker plan covers the software. Payments only work once a processor is connected and verified.
Can clients pay an invoice by text?
Yes. Text-to-pay sends the invoice as a text with a secure payment link, so a client can pay from their phone. Texting follows permission rules, so send texts only to contacts who have agreed to hear from you.
Can I charge rental application fees?
Only where it is lawful and allowed by your brokerage. Rules on application fees vary by state and town. If they are permitted, you can create a product or payment link for them, but confirm the rules first.
