RealtyCoworker vs Textedly: Both Have AI Voice. What Happens Next?

Textedly now pairs mass texting with AI voice and text agents, which makes it the closest rival in this category. The difference is what surrounds the AI: calendar, pipeline and follow-up.

Quick verdict

Textedly is a capable texting platform that now includes AI voice and messaging agents on every plan, starting at $29 per month as of October 2026. RealtyCoworker is the better fit for real estate agents and brokers because its AI works inside a full CRM, so a call or text becomes a contact, a pipeline deal, a calendar booking and a follow-up sequence without another tool. Textedly is the stronger pick for low-cost, high-volume texting.

Why Textedly Is the Closest Match

Most text marketing apps stop at texting. Textedly does not. Its AI Agents answer inbound calls and two-way texts around the clock, learn from PDFs, scripts and website URLs you upload, and log transcripts and recordings. It can also place outbound AI calls to a contact list.

That puts it closer to RealtyCoworker’s Voice AI than anything else in this category. So the comparison is not AI against no AI. It is about what the AI is connected to once the call ends.

After the Call: A Buyer Inquiry in Red Bank

A relocating buyer calls at 7:15 PM about a condo near the train station. In Textedly, the AI agent can answer, handle common questions from your uploaded material, and trigger an SMS follow-up after the call. From there, the conversation lives in Textedly, and anything beyond texting (your CRM, your calendar, your email drip) depends on integrations you set up through Zapier or a native connector.

In RealtyCoworker, the same call creates or updates the contact, the AI asks your qualifying questions and books a buyer consult on your calendar with reminders. The buyer inquiry automation moves the lead into your pipeline and keeps following up by text and email if they do not book.

One more guardrail matters in real estate: RealtyCoworker’s AI says it is an AI, never invents listings, prices or showing availability, and hands sensitive questions to you. Live property search needs an authorized MLS or IDX connection, which RealtyCoworker does not provide out of the box.

Pricing for a Small Team

As of October 2026, Textedly starts at $29 per month for 600 messages billed monthly, and annual billing adds 20% more messages per month. Every plan includes every feature; plans differ only by message volume and keyword limits. Incoming texts are free, and Textedly covers 10DLC registration for your first local number. Teammates are $10 per month each.

RealtyCoworker Essentials is $99 per month and Lift Off is $249 per month, with unlimited users on both. Usage is billed separately: texts are $0.0166 per segment and Voice AI is $0.26 per call minute on Essentials, lower on Lift Off, which also includes 100 Voice AI minutes and 1,000 AI replies each month. Compare both plans.

For a solo agent who mostly texts, Textedly costs less. Textedly’s pricing page does not spell out per-minute costs for heavy AI calling, so ask before you plan on large call volume. For a four-agent team that also needs a CRM, calendar and email, run the full math with each tool’s add-ons included.

Texting Features Head to Head

Textedly has a few texting perks RealtyCoworker does not advertise: messages up to 1,600 characters, a free GIPHY library, short code texting on 55222, and birthday campaigns built in. Its free toll-free and local numbers are a nice touch for a new agent.

RealtyCoworker’s texting lives in a shared inbox with email, calls, Facebook and Instagram DMs and website chat. You can tag a teammate with an internal comment, assign the conversation, and send a bulk text to a smart list such as “past clients in Toms River, closed 2021”.

Beyond Texting

Textedly adds SMS Google review requests, Stripe text-to-pay and contact enrichment. Email marketing is listed on its site as coming soon.

RealtyCoworker adds email campaigns, a social planner, websites and funnels, review requests with AI replies, and a deal pipeline. For agents, that means listing launches, open house invites and the monthly market update go out from the same system that answered the original call.

Setup and Support

Textedly is quick to start: sign up with Google, upload a CSV or use a keyword, and send. Its AI agent setup is guided inside the dashboard.

RealtyCoworker takes more configuration. Lift Off includes done-for-you setup of the pipeline, calendar, forms, phone number, follow-up, reminders and review requests, plus 1:1 onboarding. See how it compares with SlickText or the full roundup.

Where Each One Wins

Where Textedly wins

  • Low starting price with a free account to test (50 texts, no credit card)
  • Free toll-free and local number, with first 10DLC registration covered
  • 1,600-character texts, short code option and Stripe text-to-pay
  • Every feature on every plan, with no feature gating

Where RealtyCoworker wins

  • AI calls and texts flow straight into a CRM, pipeline and booking calendar
  • Ready-made buyer, seller, open house and nurture automations for real estate
  • Unlimited users included instead of a per-teammate fee
  • Email marketing, social planner, websites and reviews in the same login
  • Real estate guardrails: AI never invents listings, prices or showing times

Choose Textedly if: Textedly is a smart pick for an agent who mainly needs affordable mass texting with an AI agent on the phone line, and who already runs a separate CRM and calendar they are happy with.

Our verdict

The Winner for Real Estate Agents: RealtyCoworker

Textedly deserves credit for bringing AI voice agents to a low-cost texting plan, and it is the closest rival here. RealtyCoworker still wins for real estate agents and brokers because its AI is wired into everything that turns a call into a closing: contact records, pipeline stages, a booking calendar, email and text follow-up and review requests. If you would otherwise connect Textedly to a CRM, a scheduler and an email tool, RealtyCoworker does that work in one place.
