Quick verdict

RealtyCoworker is the better choice for most real estate agents and brokers because its e-signatures are connected to the CRM, AI call answering, follow-up automations and payments, all in one login. Adobe Acrobat is the stronger PDF tool, with editing, redaction, scanning to editable text and e-signature requests starting at US$14.99 per month for Acrobat Standard (annual, billed monthly), so it remains a great companion for heavy PDF work.

Acrobat Sign, Acrobat Pro and What Agents Actually Buy

Adobe’s naming can be confusing. Small businesses usually get e-signatures through Acrobat Standard or Acrobat Pro, which include the ability to request signatures, track status and send reminders. Acrobat Sign Solutions is Adobe’s enterprise e-signature product, sold through its sales team, and Adobe notes that Standard and Pro do not offer the same level of compliance as Sign Solutions.

So for a solo agent or a small team, the real comparison is Acrobat Standard or Pro against RealtyCoworker, an AI assistant and all-in-one CRM designed for real estate agents and brokers with e-signatures built into its Payments tools.

Where Adobe Is Clearly Stronger

Nobody beats Adobe at PDFs. Acrobat lets you edit text in a PDF, convert Word files, combine and organize pages, and password-protect files. Acrobat Pro adds turning scans into editable, searchable PDFs, comparing two versions of a document, redacting sensitive information, branded agreements, web forms, reusable e-sign templates and bulk send.

For an agent, that matters when a seller hands you a stack of paper HOA documents in Point Pleasant, or when you need to black out an account number before sharing a statement. RealtyCoworker does not edit or redact PDFs. It stores them in media storage and sends them for signature.

Where RealtyCoworker Pulls Ahead

Acrobat ends when the signature is collected. RealtyCoworker keeps going. When a referral agreement is signed, it can generate an invoice for the referral fee automatically, and the receiving agent’s signed copy sits on their contact record next to every call and email.

The bigger difference is what happens before the document. An open house guest in Red Bank signs in on a tablet form, gets a thank-you text that evening from the open house follow-up, and a few days later replies that they want to see more homes. You book a buyer consult, and afterward send the buyer agreement from a document template that already has their name and email.

  • Acrobat: best for creating, fixing and protecting PDFs.
  • RealtyCoworker: best for turning leads into signed clients and paid invoices.
  • Both: send documents for legally binding e-signature.

Pricing and Total Cost

As of October 2026, Adobe lists Acrobat Standard at US$14.99 per month and Acrobat Pro at US$19.99 per month for individuals on an annual plan billed monthly. Teams pay US$16.99 per license per month for Standard and US$23.99 for Pro. Adobe’s pricing page notes a fee of up to half the remaining annual commitment if you cancel after 14 days.

RealtyCoworker Essentials is $99 per month and Lift Off is $249 per month, with texts, emails, calls and AI minutes billed by usage. You can cancel any time by emailing the team. If you already own Acrobat for other work, keeping it for PDF editing while RealtyCoworker handles clients is a sensible split.

Ease of Use and Support

Acrobat is familiar to almost everyone, and the desktop, web and mobile apps are polished. Acrobat Pro for teams includes 24×7 support, and Adobe’s help library covers nearly every PDF task.

RealtyCoworker is broader, so it takes some setup. Lift Off includes done-for-you setup of your pipeline, calendar, forms, phone number, follow-up and review requests, plus 1:1 onboarding and priority chat support from T.O.M Digital Marketing in New Jersey.

Our verdict

The Winner for Real Estate Agents: RealtyCoworker

Adobe Acrobat is the best PDF software you can buy, and its e-signature requests are solid. But real estate agents and brokers do not lose deals because of a PDF. They lose them because a call went unanswered or a lead never got a follow-up. RealtyCoworker wins for agents and brokers because it handles that work and collects the signature in the same place. Keep Acrobat for heavy PDF editing if you need it.

RealtyCoworker Features in This Comparison

Adobe Acrobat Sign vs RealtyCoworker: FAQ

Do I need Acrobat Pro to send documents for e-signature?

No. Adobe lists requesting e-signatures in Acrobat Standard. Acrobat Pro adds reusable e-sign templates, web forms, bulk send and branded agreements, plus advanced PDF tools like redaction.

Is Adobe Acrobat Sign the same as Acrobat Pro?

Not exactly. Acrobat Pro includes a subset of e-signature features. Acrobat Sign Solutions is Adobe's full enterprise e-signature offering, sold through sales, and Adobe says Standard and Pro do not offer the same compliance level as Sign Solutions.

Can RealtyCoworker edit or redact a PDF?

No. RealtyCoworker lets you upload a PDF, place it into a document and collect legally binding e-signatures, but it is not a PDF editor. Use Acrobat or a similar tool for editing and redaction, then upload the final file.

Which is cheaper for a small real estate team?

On signing alone, Acrobat costs less per person. RealtyCoworker includes unlimited users plus the CRM, texting, AI and payments, so for a team that would otherwise buy several tools, it often costs less in total. Remember that RealtyCoworker usage is billed separately.

Are e-signatures in RealtyCoworker legally binding?

RealtyCoworker collects legally binding e-signatures on documents you build or upload. It provides the signing tool, not legal advice, so use the forms your brokerage has approved and confirm with your broker or attorney which documents can be signed electronically in your state.
